something about the white branches is bothering me though. i think it works in other pieces you've done but here i feel it is a bit distracting. maybe its just too white, the yellow or green might have worked as a light wash over the branches. or......if the white branch on the left crawled up the paper more, it feels too even with the bottom right one. throws off the composition a little bit for me.
it's still great and i wish i was there. we don't really have trees like this in south florida and we don't have autumn here. i dream of it. this picture feels like fall is about over, the vibrant colors have faded and it's getting cold.
you do a good job of creating feelings with your tree paintings by using the right colors and all those layers.
