A funky little landscape.
This painting will always remind me of Lake Sarah, up in the Quetico (Ontario). The lakes are exceptionally beautiful up there, but Lake Sarah, as I remember, was fantastically awe inspiring. We reached camp just before sunset, and had one of the most beautiful sunsets of the entire trip.
It looked nothing like this.

Overall
Vision
Originality Technique ImpactThis is a really good painting. I find it great when I find a good traditional artist, especially when everything is turning digital. The vision and technique are both really interesting. I know how difficult it can be to get some techniques in watercolor to turn out right, you did a very good job.
I have to say that the overall impact is slightly lacking- not by much though. It is a great painting, but it doesn't draw my eye right off the bat. Maybe using more colors would draw more attention to your piece?
